Bug Description
Here the bug:
If you go on a folder right mouse click share, a window pops up
and ask for SMB or NFS share. If you choose NFS share it will
install three files. After this sharing from gome is impossible
"sharing folder" hangs and "shared folders", too
Workaround is the uninstalling nfs-kernel-server 1:1.0.7-3ubuntu1 <-- this is
the bastard
and installing user server 2.2beta47-20.
but ... one problem is left even if you uninstall all nfs support sharing
nfs will be offered by right click share a folder (there is no test if nfs
installed anymore)
Hope this will help.
May be you know it but i search this in the german forums for nearly two weeks :-(((
Best Regards
Michael

the 2 nfs implementations are just different and they were never supposed to be compatible in that sense. If gnome can't cope with one of them, either gnome needs to be fixed or Depends: directly on the one that is able to talk to.
