Missing many calls/messages

I repeatedly miss calls and text messages. I simply find some time in the future when I look at my phone I have missed calls or messages waiting for me. I've always assumed that the phone is not making any noise or vibrating, otherwise I would have noticed, but today I caught it in the act for the first time.

The phone was sitting on the table right next to me, when I looked at it, there was a notification for an incoming call, there was no sound, there was no vibration. The phone was not in silent mode, it was set to medium volume in a quiet environment.

This does not happen to every call, but to a significant number that it is very annoying, as a vague idea, somewhere in the range of 10-60%. This has been happening for months atleast.

This issue is really annoying and critical. Phone does not ring when I should receive a call. Caller gets message that I am not reachable. Later I receive message that someone tried to call me. It is very easy to replicate. I made three calls to my phone, second time my phone did not ring at all. New OS release did not fix it.

Just for sure, bug 1505012 may be related to *this issue, but in my case I miss calls to my SIM card in second slot, which uses 2G.

I have exactly the same issue on my BQ E4.5

Also, forgot to mention this before, messages delivery is often delayed, if phone is reset, message is delivered right after unlocking the sim cards and connection to the networks.
