Bug Description

Binary package hint: system-config-samba

attempting to load system|Administration|Samba.

The tool should of opened, but instead it just shows up in Gnome's bottom bar for a few seconds and goes away.

This is repeatable, using the maintainers smb.conf. I attached in anyway since it appears my workgroup has been set in it.

Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release: 8.04

system-config-samba:
  Installed: 1.2.50-0ubuntu2
  Candidate: 1.2.50-0ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 1.2.50-0ubuntu2 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Tried a fresh restart (figure with all the changes the last few days it can't hurt).

I am attempting to track down why I can connect to my Vista Ultimate HTPC, wanted to try the vanilla smb.conf and the GUI tools and see if I could get it to work. No Joy.

I can browse the XP and other Samba boxes via Nautilus fine. I can use smbclient fine, can't mount -t cifs. This is all probably unrelated to the Samba GUI tool failing but I figured I would include it.
