Bug Description

Binary package hint: system-config-printer

When searching for a network printer without entering an IP address, the printers found will be put in the treeview on the left.
Most users will not see them and wonder why the printer isn't found. I think it would be better to have the available printers below the search entry.

system-config-printer-gnome: 1.2.3+20100723-0ubuntu8.1
Ubuntu 10.10

I also think that this is not intuitive. Either the results should appear directly under the input, for example in the "Connections" list, or there should be links to the tree view entries. Note also that it is not only unintuitive to have the results only in the tree view but also a usability problem if something like 50 printers get auto-detected and then you enter the IP of one which did not get auto-detected and now you have to find its entry between 50 others.

Tim, WDYT?

Yes, putting them in "Connections" makes sense.
