German translation of "add printer" wrong

When I'm adding a new printer there are some missing translations. See screenshots:

Is this still a problem for you? Could someone from the German team check the strings and update the bug status?

These strings come from https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+source/system-config-printer/+pots/system-config-printer, which seems to be 100% translated in German

Everything seems to be translated in Launchpad but using the current language pack on Lucid 10.04 the strings shown in the screenshots are still not shown in German but English. So this still is a problem.

This is not a problem with the translation. Translation is complete! Must be some problem accessing the translation for NewPrinterGUI. Could not find anything wrong with NewPrinterWindow.glade, all strings are set to "translatable=yes" so I guess it's somewhere in the main programm.

It seems like there is a missing call for locale.bindtextdomain. Here is some info about that: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=574520

You find a debdiff attached. There are some chances that other dialogs are affected, too. I don't know if this is Ubuntu-specific, so if you find the patch useful, you may want to file it upstream.

Status change: I provided a proposed debdiff, that is not a commit. A developer should review it and then – if appropriate – commit it. Besides, a debdiff is probably not what upstream wants as a patch.

I think it would make sense. Ultimately it will be a decision of the
stable releases update team whether this is accepted as an SRU or not.

To initiate this process, someone must be willing to work in following
the process to initiate an SRU request as outlined in [1].
