Bug Description
Binary package hint: system-
The dialog displayed when you're adding a new printer shows untranslated in my Spanish desktop, albeit it's fully translated in the Launchpad template:
The strings which are translated but shows untranslated includes the following:
1. Describe Printer
2. Printer Name
3. Short name for this printer such as "laserjet"
4. Description (optional)
5. Human-readable description such as "HP Laserjet with Duplexer"
6. Location (optional)
7. Human-readable location such as "Lab 1"
All of the above strings are fully translated into Spanish in Launchpad since 2009:
1. https:/
2. https:/
3. https:/
4. https:/
5. https:/
6. https:/
7. https:/
and the translations are into the /usr/share/
ricardo@kadath:~$ strings -eS /usr/share/
<span weight="bold" size="larger"
ricardo@kadath:~$ strings -eS system-
Descripción legible para humanos, como «HP LaserJet con duplexor»
Ubicación legible para humanos, como «Lab 1»
and so on.
I attach an screenshot to illustrate the problem.
This is probably a dupe of bug #557199 - let's hope that the import queue's files fix this too :)
