Bug Description

Binary package hint: system-config-printer

Not sure if this is the same as 473184 but thought they were probably realted. 473184 occurs on startup (applet.py crashes), this occurs on system>administration>printing (system-config-printer.py crashes). Again in case they;re not the same problem:

Karmic, Kernel 2.6.28-16 (cannot boot newer kernel due to refusal to correctly recognize two identical hard drives (bigger problem) as well as it didn't build nvidia drivers correctly during upgrade (possible workaroundable if not for two hard drive thig) so dropped back to 28-16., Gnome 2.28.1, core 2 duo 2.93GHz, 8GiB ram.

This problem began after J>K upgrade, and my primary and only printer (Canon PixMa iP3500) disappeared.

May be same problem as 473184, or not, wanted to report separately just in case. thanks.
