Bug Description

Binary package hint: system-config-printer

If the cups service is not running when you run the Printing troubleshooter from Help>Troubleshoot in the Printer configuration window, the following message is displayed:

"The CUPS print spooler does not appear to be running. To correct this, choose System->Administration->Services from the main menu and look for the 'cups' service."

These instructions are no longer valid as this option has been removed from the menu. (See LP #433701.)

Still applies in Ubuntu 10.10
As mentioned services-admin has been disabled in Ubuntu.
Perhaps this needs to be a more neutral text: To correct this start the 'cups' service.
