system-config-printer hangs

After adding the canon selphy cp720 printer, system-config-printer hangs, while configuring printing the test page didn't work.
Printing on an earlier configured printer does still work (kyocera laser via networked diskstation)

What do you mean by hanging? Please describe the steps you have taken and the point where is hangs in more detail. If possible provide a screenshot.

Please also run the following command for more usefull printing related debugging output:

That was a while ago. Printing does work at the moment.
But I did a re-install with 10.04 and I haven't had those
weird problems again.
