Binary package hint: system-config-printer-gnome
Using Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS and system-config-printer-gnome 0.7.81+svn1976-0ubuntu9
When a print job is started the system-config-printer-applet appears as an icon in the tray and the icon dissapears when the print job is done. When right-clicking this tray icon there is a Hide option that is useless since there is no need for the user to Hide this icon. Please remove this option.
Also there should not be a menu entry "Manage Print Jobs" under Applications > Accessories since it is more intuitive to click the tray icon to manage print jobs. Most users will never use the menu entry, please hide it by default. |
