Description:
Running system-config-printer on Ubuntu produces a deprecation warning for Gdk.threads_leave. This indicates that the application is using outdated GTK threading methods. Please update the code to use modern equivalents.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a terminal.
2. Run system-config-printer.
3. Observe the deprecation warning in the terminal output.

Suggested Fix:
Replace Gdk.threads_leave with appropriate GLib idle function.
