system-config-printer.py crashed with AttributeError in load(): 'RuntimeError' object has no attribute 'message'

Printer feeds blank sheet when an attempt is made to print a single sheet. Also, when printing multiple sheets the printer sometimes stops printing part way through the second or third sheet.
