It has been several months since I posted the log as requested, and there has been no change or even any acknowledgement of the issue.

I have seen updates available for both Samba and the printer system, but whatever changes those were, they did not fix this issue.

I am still new to Ubuntu, so please excuse me if I am handling this wrong.

And as I stated before, if there is any information I can supply to help track down the cause of this issue, please let me know.

I'm experiencing the same bug since updating to 14.4. I am trying to connect to a network printer, the hosting pc is win7, workgroup, sharing enabled, printer dcp7030 (brother), on my computer samba is installed (I can use file shares on that pc), printing was working normally in 13.10. Log.txt attached
