Bug Description

Binary package hint: system-config-printer-kde

After latest update starting system-config-printer-kde fails.

In terminal gives this error message:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/share/system-config-printer/system-config-printer-kde.py", line 75, in <module>
    from smburi import SMBURI
ImportError: No module named smburi

I tried to find smburi with the package installer, but that one doesn't find it.

This looks like a missing dependency in system-config-printer-kde. I did not find a "from smburi import SMBURI" in system-config-printer-gnome or system-config-printer-common, so this problem is specific to system-config-printer-kde.

system-config-printer-kde (0.08) hardy; urgency=low

  * Install missing file smburi.py in package, closes LP: #210555
