Bug Description
Binary package hint: system-cleaner
Wouldn't it be better to purge the packages i chose to remove in system-cleaner? Right now it just removes them, ergo some config files are still lying around. Or at least give an option to purge?

I agree that not purging packages leaves some cruft. The amount is typically fairly small, though.
Purging instead of removing carries the risk of the user accidentally removing configs they care about, and I'd like to be very careful about that. Thus, at least for intrepid, system-cleaner won't purge, but let's discuss this again after intrepid is released.
