Bug Description

Binary package hint: system-cleaner

Wouldn't it be better then for a new application to go straight to PolicyKit instead of gksu? I thought the goal is to kill gksu from the default setup.

I think gksu is going to be around for a little while yet (for example, Synaptic still uses it). However, I agree that it would be great if system-cleaner used PolicyKit sometime in the future.

Changed in system-cleaner:
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
status: New → Triaged

I agree that PolicyKit would have been a good idea, but I didn't realize that until it was too late to implement it for intrepid. I'll fix it after intrepid is released.
