Bug Description

Syslinux FTBFS on yakkety amd64, i386 builds fine.
Previous version of syslinux (3:6.03+dfsg-11ubuntu1) now fails to build in the same way.
Downgrading nasm to 2.11.08-1 had no effect either.

arch/i386/interface/pcbios/int13.c: In function ‘register_int13_drive’:
arch/i386/interface/pcbios/int13.c:469:2: warning: asm operand 0 probably doesn’t match constraints
  __asm__ __volatile__ (
arch/i386/interface/pcbios/int13.c:469:2: error: impossible constraint in ‘asm’

The attach patch avoids the FTBFS. I haven't tested the built binary packages.

This bug was fixed in the package syslinux - 3:6.03+dfsg-13

syslinux (3:6.03+dfsg-13) unstable; urgency=medium

  * QA upload.
  * Fix FTBFS when GCC configured with --enable-default-pie. (LP: #1579023)
  * Fix typo in short description: 9960 vs 9660. Closes: #802230
