Bug Description
Installer hard resets after the boot menu on many Chromebooks, e.g. Acer C720. Others report the same behavior at http://
Is the Ubuntu installer using syslinux 6.02+ and a relocatable kernel?
If so, see patch at http://

I don't have the necessary knowledge to review the patch, but hopefully assigning it to the syslinux package will be helpful.

The daily build now boots as expected.

I've confirmed that the daily build (http:// cdimage. ubuntu. com/daily- live/current/) installer also hard resets.
