Bug Description

Binary package hint: syscp

When I switch aps-installer on and access an menu entry I only get:

There are some problems with this module:

    * The PHP/Webserver process must be able to write in the directory /var/www/syscp/temp/ and /var/www/syscp/packages/

Fix these problems, otherwise the module cannot be used!

I created the both directory and give them a chmod 777 but no changes. Whats wrong?

I discovered, that syscp has hardcodet the path in the language files. I created a patch for the upstream package see

http://bugs.syscp.org/view.php?id=1273

After create

mkdir /usr/share/syscp/packages/ /usr/share/syscp/temp/

and set the write permissions to the folders i got it running.
