Bug Description

When trying to setup sync with an ownCloud instance I get the error:

[ERROR] error code from SyncEvolution fatal error (local, status 10500): contacts: access to DAV not enabled

I use a command like:

syncevolution --configure \
              --template SyncEvolution \
              backend=CardDAV \
              --sync-property username=user \
              --sync-property password=password \
              --sync-property syncURL=http://localhost/owncloud/apps/contacts/carddav.php/addressbooks/user/default \
              consumerReady=0 \
              target-config@owncloud-contacts contacts

According to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=624642 this can be done by using the compile time switch '--enable-dav' instead of '--with-dav'.

Does this have a chance of getting fixed in 12.04?
