Bug Description

I've noticed that my Google calendar hasn't been properly syncing for a while. Well, at least, new events aren't showing up in the time indicator or calendar-app.

I've added my sync-monitor.log file here. It looks like <email address hidden> (the account I'm not seeing syncing properly) does apparently claim to sync correctly sometimes. But I'm still not seeing the new events.

Thanks, I assume you are speaking about ubuntu touch/phone? What device/channel/image number?

Upon seeing this bug I realized my mako tester hadn't gotten any cal updates for quiite some time, I also see no change to sync in the log.

In account settings I disabled calendar, then re-enabled it. Then I forced a sync in the calendar app, and it did it. Not sure if the first step was necessary or not.

We do not have auto-sync or any schedule sync. You need manually sync your events. Normally you only need to press the sync button on the calendar app.

Let me know if you calendar stop to sync again.

@Renato, I'm surprised to hear we don't have any auto-sync for the calendar! But no matter, this bug still stands.

Even after doing a manual sync -- which the logs seem to indicate are successful --I don't see any new events in the calendar app or the indicator.

@Michel

your log says that the calendar was synced sucessful and 23 new events was added to your local calendar.

Could you check if you have the events on your local database? (Check .local/share/evolution/calendar/<calendar-id>, check all dirs)

Check if the calendar appears on the list on your calendar app, and it is enabled.

Yup, I understand that the log SAYS I have new events. But I don't see them.

Specifically, I just did another manual sync (log snippet below). I looked for an event that I had added for this past Monday. Still not there in the app (and yes, the calendar is enabled there). So I looked at .local/share/evolution/calendar/<calendar-id>/calendar.ics and it also was not in there. So despite it saying it synced, it looks like it doesn't save the event.
