Bug Description

In Ubuntu 12.04 amd64 (eg in this case it is a newly-installed Ubuntu, which automatically sets up multiarch), synaptic only displays a few i386 dev packages - eg lib64z1-dev:i386 appears in response to a search for dev:i386. A larger number of packages are missing, eg libglu1-mesa-dev:i386. It is possible to install this package manually with apt-get, but not from synaptic.
