Bug Description

Binary package hint: synaptic

If I remove one or more packages from synaptic, synaptic removes the packages and will notify me that the packages were removed. When I press the close button of this information window, synaptic itself crashes. Some details:

rick@rickubuntu:~$ sudo synaptic

(synaptic:5686): libglade-WARNING **: Error loading image: Failed to open file '/usr/share/synaptic/glade/system-upgrade': No such file or directory

(synaptic:5686): libglade-WARNING **: could not convert string to type `GdkPixbuf' for property `pixbuf'

(synaptic:5686): libglade-WARNING **: Couldn't find image file: system-upgrade
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Thanks for your bugreport.

Can you reproduce this problem (i.e. does it always crash)? If so, could you please try to obtain a gdb backtrace (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace).

Thanks,
 Michael

It isn't reproducable anymore. It used to occur with every package, now it does not happen with any package.
