New changelogs don't have lp-links like update-manager

Binary package hint: synaptic

When I want to see the changelog of a new package I get

'Failed to fetch the changelog for devicekit-power
URI was: http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/main/d/devicekit-power/devicekit-power_011-1ubuntu1/changelog'

whereas in update-manager I get pointed to the according launchpad page. I consider this a bug.
I'm using karmic beta. Maybe this behaviour changes when final is here anyway but still...

btw I'm looking at the changelog via package -> changelog (Packet -> Änderungsprotokoll in german)

I think this bug can be confirmed: an LP link for unavailable changelogs has been added in update-manager from intrepid (version 1:0.91.6), but is still missing in synaptic's changelog viewer.
Can be marked as a wishlist; it should be easy to fix.

a fix is proposed to display the lp-link but the link won't be clickable.
