Bug Description
Versions:
Ubuntu 8.10
Synaptic 0.62.1ubuntu10
To Reproduce:
* In the "Quick search" field, type some text that displays at least one installed package (and any number of packages which haven't been installed)
* Click on the package name of an installed package (so the line is selected)
* Click in the "Quick search" field between any two characters (or before the first character)
* Press the "Delete" key
* Instead of deleting the character after the cursor Synaptic attempts to mark the package for removal
Workaround: Use the arrows and the backspace key
