Bug Description

When i startup synaptic I need to click some menu item before using search tool

Thanks for your bugreport.

Does that mean that when you start it and you have the mouse cursor over the
"search" button you first need to move the mouse away before you can click it?
Or something else? If something else, please describe what I have to do to
reproduce this problem.

It seems the bug is gone after update.
