2020-05-13 07:28:44 SHJ description update-manager: version 1:18.04.11.12 I had failed partial update with unconfigured systemd. My system was locked (unable to reboot without root). I did restart with sudo. Synaptic will ask to kill apt then crash after launch with sudo. Synaptic was functional before update. apt list --installed apt update-manager synaptic systemd Listing... Done apt/bionic-updates,now 1.6.12 amd64 [installed] synaptic/bionic,now 0.84.3ubuntu1 amd64 [installed] systemd/bionic-updates,now 237-3ubuntu10.40 amd64 [installed] update-manager/bionic-updates,bionic-updates,now 1:18.04.11.12 all [installed] I had failed partial update with unconfigured systemd.
