When synaptic detects that during upgrading packages to the latest state would change a configuration file because the newer release brings a newer one with itself, synaptic asks whether one wants to keep the old configuration file or install the new one. It shows the differences in a scrollable but very tiny window. The height of this window (only 2.3 lines) makes it almost useless! It does not grow larger, if one accommodates more space to the whole dialogue window.
This dialogue should be configured such that the window showing the differences shows at least 5 lines and increases its size if the height of the dialogue window is increased by the user. Further a button to export the differences to some file, preferably with a name yyyy-mm-
