Bug Description

Binary package hint: synaptic

when installing or looking thru to install, right-clicking an item that depends on a dependency will when asked mark the rest for installation, however if one then decides not to intall anything and goes to unmark an item and asked whether to also mark/unmark those dependencies it only unmarks the main program and not the dependencies, results equal to meaning that the dependencies are mark for install even tho one didn't want to install.

ver. 0.60ubuntu5

Thanks for your report. An "unmark changes" dialog should appear, which is bug 69648, so I am marking this as a duplicate.
