Bug Description

Hello,

Here is my configuration :

lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Release: 16.04

apt-cache policy synaptic
synaptic:
  Installed: 0.83
  Candidate: 0.83
  Version table:

        500 http://ch.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial/universe amd64 Packages

 uname -a

Problem :

When I open sysaptic, I get this message :

E: The value 'stable' is invalid for APT::Default-Release as such a release is not available in the sources
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Could you help me to fix this bug ?
