Bug Description
Binary package hint: synaptic
It would be nice to be able to uninstall packages by selecting them directly in the history.
This will improve usability.
For example:
At the moment you can't do that.
If you install a package it might install other packages because it depends on them.
If you want uninstall the package again, you don't know what other packages where installed.
So you'll look in the history.
But there in the histrory, you can't select those packages to uninstall them.
You have to search them in the main screen of synaptic with the search function, package for package.
This is not very usability friendly.
So it would be great to be able to uninstall those packages directly from the history menu.
Selecting packages right in the history is a nice idea.
The latest version of synaptic (feisty) has a feature that allows automatic removal of packages that got installed as dependencies (status "auto removalable").
