Bug Description
Since a couple weeks, when synaptic is loaded, an authentication box ask for the user's password. Mine is composed with letters & numbers, and i was used to use the numpad (activated indeed) to set the numbers.
Now the numpad numbers cant be set with that authentication box when synaptic ask for it (the hitted numbers are ignored, nothing happen).
Note that setting that password to open a session with lightdm, for example, there is no problem at all. So its specific to synaptic, even if it has not been upgraded recently.
So it might be some change from its dependencies i suppose. or some new restrictions from apparmor/else.
