Bug Description

Binary package hint: sylpheed

It would be nice to have a gnome-keyring support, to be able to store password and such private data.

NOOO! The whole reason I use sylpheed is that it is not encumbered by all that rubbish.
It would be better if gnome keyring was got rid of all together from the face of the whole earth!
What are people supposed to do do who just run simple windowing systems like openbox, I3 etc?
If one is worried about theft of their computer then they can simply set sylpheed not to store passwords or only save them for the session etc.
Sypheed is the only email client worth using, Dont wreck it!!

I think that balsa is already encumbered with "gnome keyring"
Go and use that instead instead of trolling developers into spoiling a perfectly good email client
