[9.10 alpha 4]swfdec-mozilla uninstall failure

Binary package hint: swfdec-mozilla

My firefox is 3.5.2. ubuntu is 9.10A4
After some crash, i decide uninstall swfdec plugin for firefox.

I mark swfdec-mozilla as uninstall, and apply the mark.

But pop a dialog :

An error occurred,

E: swfdec-mozilla: subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit status 2

and the pack status becomes to broken.

Could you please post the output of "sudo apt-get remove swfdec-mozilla", or attach your /var/log/dpkg.log?

This bug was fixed in the package swfdec-mozilla - 0.8.2-1ubuntu2

swfdec-mozilla (0.8.2-1ubuntu2) karmic; urgency=low

  * debian/swfdec-mozilla.prerm:
    - Remove redundant "update-alternatives --list" test, which exits with
      an error now when there are no alternatives left. The test doesn't
      return 0 lines anyway, so the check doesn't work. This stops the
      prerm script exiting with an error on removal (LP: #416816).
