Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

In Jaunty running under VirtualBox 2.1.4, I installed the swfdec flash player, then firefox froze, and core dumped a couple of minutes later. The output on the terminal was firefox.stderr (attached). I got the following message:

`Sorry, the program "firefox" closed unexpectedly

Your computer does not have enough free memory to automatically analyze the problem and send a report to the developers.'

This was odd, because top reported substantial free memory and swap:

Mem: 380144k total, 266232k used, 113912k free, 6748k buffers
Swap: 578300k total, 278108k used, 300192k free, 78928k cached

When I restarted firefox and closed all tabs except the one with the swf file:
http://gorillamask.net/gm_media.php?show_page=video&page_id=22238

, Firefox played the file, but I still got:

** (firefox:4987): WARNING **: Failed to retrieve channel layout from caps. This usually means there is a GStreamer element that does not implement multichannel audio correctly. Please file a bug.

So I am filing a bug.

Here is the crash file. It does not seem to be swfdec related. Shall I file a seperate bug report?
