perl: /build/buildd/subversion-1.6.5dfsg/subversion/libsvn_subr/path.c:114: svn_path_join: Assertion `svn_path_is_canonical(base, pool)' failed.
Aborted (core dumped)

all svk commands involving svn communication get the same error.

this problem seems to appear only with previously created repos.
temporary work around is to recreate repos and resync everything
