Bug Description
Binary package hint: supertux
Supertux 0.3.0 hangs when quitting. It prints this message at the top of the window:
Warning: tried spawning Tux in solid matter. Compensating.
If the application is killed when hung, it nonetheless keeps the sound busy, so no other application can use it. This can not be corrected by restarting X. In this condition, if Supertux is restarted, it prints a warning about not being able to use sound and becomes mortally slow.

I suspect this is an OpenAL-related issue. Did you already try changing the output driver of the OpenAL HAL according to <http:// supertux. lethargik. org/wiki/ Tips_and_ Tricks> or <http:// supertux. lethargik. org/wiki/ OpenAL_ Configuration# Examples>?
