Bug Description
If installing from apt-get/aptitude:
Installer tells the user to go download a file and put it in /tmp then hit enter...then things go on properly
If installing from a GUI like Synaptic:
Installer appears to hang. The request stays in the console which may or may not be expanded/visible to the user. No popups tell the user what's happening.
Option 1:
Make the GUI more informative
Option 2:
Make the package automatically do what it's telling the user to do.
