Bug Description
Binary package hint: sudo
To reproduce :
- launch gnome-terminal
- in this term, launch gnome-terminal
- in the new term, ps says TTY = pts/2
- launch 'sudo foo' --> The password is prompted
- exit the term pts/2
In the first term :
- launch gnome-terminal
- in the new term, ps says TTY = pts/2
- launch 'sudo foo' --> The password is not prompted !!!

Hi! Thanks for the report, however this is the expected behavior of sudo. It records your user name and current tty, and lets you sudo again within it's regular time out value. (The default according to "man sudo" is 15 minutes.)
