Bug Description

Dear Friends,

According to the man page, sudoedit should respect and use my $EDITOR.

It doesn't. It always uses nano.

Shahar

Have you tried:

sudo update-alternatives –config editor

    $ sudo update-alternatives –config editor

    There are 5 alternatives which provide `editor’.

Dear Benjamin,

That would be a workaround. So thank you for it but it doesn't mean that there is no bug here.

So changing back to new.

Thanks,
Shahar
