Typing the correct password, slock still does not unlock the screen. Need to kill the process.

slock is in this package nowadays

This happens, if I type slock in terminal and press return down for more than a second. When I release the key screen turns red and does not switch to blue even if I type something. I have to switch to another TTY and kill slock to continue. Tested in suckless-tools 43-1 / slock-1.4 / Xubuntu 18.04
