Cannot select/deselect sub

I'm a linux Ubuntu user, using subDownloader in gnome. I've got a problem when I do the following :

 - click on select video and select a file
 - the results of the search are shown and the first one is selected

Then the only way to select (make the V in the box appear I mean) a new sub is to make a RIGHT click on the sub. That's not realy a problem, just a little weird for people who doesn't know.
The real problem is that I cannot deselect any sub! Left click don't change anything and right click neither...

If you need more information just ask.

And btw, SubDownloader realy rocks, I was waiting for this kind of software for a long time! Thx for your work.

are you using KDE4 by any chance?

Tell me if you can unselect the subs by clicking the SPACE key.

Yes, KDE 4.1 is installed on my computer and now that you say it, I remember that all the themes of QT4 applications are modified to follow the theme I choose under KDE 4.
I cannot select or unselect any sub with the space key, even after selecting a sub to get the focus.

I have the same problems (both checking and unchecking subs) on KDE 4.2 with QtCurve.
Just in case, I checked with the default Oxygen style but to no avail.

I set this bug as 'Invalid', due to long inactivity and because the newer versions do not have this issue.

It still affects me on Kubuntu 13.04 with SubDownloader 2.0.14 from official repositories and 2.0.18 from PPA.

Cannon select/deselect subtitles by mouse left-clicking, can select (but not deselect) by right-clicking and can do both (select/delect) using Enter key.

It's the same in Ubuntu Studio, but when it downloads you are getting the mowies HTML page named .tar.gz instead of .html - but no subtitles. All the checkboxes are there as they used to be, but they dont respond to checking!!

Now subdownlaoder moved to pyqt5, and there has been quite some rewrite. At the very least, I can perfectly select and deselect using the left button now…
