Dummy panel applet?

Bug Description

I can't begin to guess where it could have come from, but when I open the interface to add an applet to the panel, there's an item at the end called 'styleclock' with the default no-icon icon and a description of 'A panel applet called $NAME$'.

I too get this odd description. It seems to originate from /usr/share/apps/kicker/applets/styleclock.desktop. I assume somewhere in the build process $NAME$ was supposed to have been replaced by the name of the app. Though honestly that's not a very useful description.

The applet you are referring to is available as the styleclock package, which you probably installed. I can confirm the messed up description for this applet in Feisty.

But... it has updated in almost three years - so it could be added to Kubuntu in which case send me the patch.
