Bug Description
General configuration: strigi-daemon 0.5.7-1~gutsy1 ; strigi-applet 0.5.6-0ubuntu1 ; kubuntu 7.10.
After rebooting, every change made by the strigi preferences box in konqueror is just reset. Furthermore, the indexing does not seem to be working efficiently, as for example I am unable to search within my e-mail although ~.kde is included in the directories to be indexed (and so I guess ~mail folder where kmail stores the e-mails).
If there is a way to be more helpful with this bug submission please let me know what you need.
Cheers,
Antonio

Confirmed. I've had this problem all the way from fresh installs of Kubuntu Feisty through to current packages in Kubuntu Gutsy Remix (32 bit). Strange thing is that it doesn't happen immediately, but neither does it wait for a restart. I usually notice this change 20 minutes or so after using strigi.
Expected:
Folders added or removed in strigi configuration will remain added removed.
Currently:
Folders remain for a short while and then reset to the default list of included/excluded folders.
Specs:
strigi-daemon 0.5.7-2, Kubuntu Hardy Remix
