Bug Description

Since Ubuntu is bent on replacing everything that ships with GNOME with its own version that fails more than works, they seem to have replaced the volume control applet for no reason with an indicator-applet version with lots of bugs.

Since the user is left to install a Staciawhoziwhazzit session to restore GNOME to pre-crack smoking status, they will now find that there is no volume applet at all.

Would it be possible to place the volume applet for the standard GNOME session in the Staciawhoziwhazzit package oh kind and merciful overlords? Thank you.

I would also like to have a volume control applet. I do not wish to be forced to use evolution email in order to change my volume.
