Bug Description

Binary package hint: stopwatch

When Stopwatch is timing (i.e. the clock is counting up), the CPU usage for its process goes up drastically. at rest, on my Intel Core2 Duo T7500 it is consistently at 0%, but when timing it jumps to anything from 10% to 70%.

The rest of the system becomes sluggish (Firefox is slow to open, movies stutter etc) and the Stopwatch itself is slow to respond. For example, when trying to stop the Stopwatch from running by clicking the Stop button, the application will take anything up to 2 seconds to recognize the click.

ProblemType: Bug

PackageArchitecture: all
ProcEnviron:
 LANG=en_US.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
