Notes:
1) I have another partition, same machine only it's Ubuntu 14.04 instead of 15.10 in which Steam runs fine
2) Finishing installation and running Steam from the CLI outputs:
Running Steam on ubuntu 15.10 64-bit
STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically

SteamUpdateUI: An X Error occurred
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
