Steam wants to remove itself

Bug Description
Everytime I start steam from console I get this
steam
rm: cannot remove ‘/home/
rm: cannot remove ‘/home/
Running Steam on linuxmint 17 64-bit
STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically
which is weird, I once did start as sudo and it reinstalled itself.
Is this mint or steam issue?
