[jammy] spyder debugging not working

Expected outcome:

Hit "Debug file" button od "Ctrl+F5" and program starts running in debugger

Actual outcome:
---------------
following line is output several times:

    [... skipped 1 hidden frame]

then debugging hangs:
> /path/to/script/code.py(3)<module>()
      1 #!/usr/bin/env python3
      2
----> 3 import mymodule
      4 import warnings
      5

Analysis:

Is apparently a known bug of spyder 4:

THIS BUG WILL NOT BE FIXED IN SPYDER 4

Since 22.04 is the LTS version, PLEASE backport spyder 5.x.x !!
