Bug Description
Spyder, the python GUI, comes in two versions: "spyder" for python 2.7 and "spyder3" for python 3.x. When launching spyder3 on the standard Ubuntu Gnome desktop, it registers as "spyder" (for python 2.7) in the task bar. This mix up has a few annoying consequences:
- when opening both, spyder and spyder3, they share the same task bar entry.
- when launching spyder3 and adding it as favourite (via right click on the task bar -> add to favourites), the favourite that gets created is for the python 2.7 version.
- It is possible to add spyder3 as favourite by searching for it (via windows key -> type spyder3 -> right click -> add to favourites). But then, when you launch it, the application creates a second icon in the task bar and isn't associated with it's own favourite button.
